Simplified COBRA Administration

What Is COBRA?

The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) provides certain former employees, retirees, spouses, former spouses, and dependent children the right to temporary continuation of health coverage at group rates.

COBRA applies to employers with 20 or more employees, and depending on the qualifying event, coverage could continue for 18 to 36 months after the date of the event. Employers must communicate to employees their right for continued benefits.

Surency Offers an Efficient, Easy-to-Use, and Compliant COBRA Solution

COBRA participants can elect coverage, pay premiums, view their statuses, view notices, and monitor payment history all through their member account or mobile app. During open enrollment, COBRA participants can also make elections online.

Employers can save time, reduce manual processing, and stay in compliance, as well as access robust, on-demand reporting. The online Employer Account allows for monitoring terminations and elections, tracking of premium disbursements and settlements and more. Surency handles all required notices sent to members leaving employers with one less thing to worry about.
