Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement. Provide detailed sales reports, actionable insights and dashboards to management and stakeholders.
  • Administer and manage sales tools and technologies, such as CRM systems, ensuring the sales team has access to the latest resources.
  • Assist the Sales team with RFP preparation and submission, including gathering requirements, drafting the RFP responses, and preparing exhibits.
  • Develop and maintain sales enablement materials such as playbooks, product guides and competitive analysis documents.
  • Develop and prepare reporting for existing clients including network analysis, member utilization, cost analysis, and market trends.
  • Analyze and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist in the development of sales forecasts and quotas. Support the sales team with planning and operational tasks.
  • Train sales team members on sales processes, tools, and best practices. Provide ongoing support to ensure adherence to processes and optimal use of tools.
  • Cross functional collaboration to align sales strategies to ensure seamless operations and consistency in messaging and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales operations, sales analysis, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales enablement tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Hybrid work environment with three days onsite at our Wichita, KS  or Leawood, KS office.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with SQL or other database query languages.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Surency is looking for a Sales Executive in Texas. Surency provides straightforward reimbursement accounts, vision insurance and COBRA administration. We are proud to offer plans that are easy to use and understand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attains monthly and annual sales quotas across multiple new lines and upsells additional lines of business in our existing groups in Texas.
  • Develops statewide sales plans, establishes sales priorities, and executes multi-channel sales strategies across two states.
  • Prospects for business through networking and lead generation.
  • Analyzes the business, competitive environment, challenges and needs of sophisticated brokers and complex prospects in a wide variety of states, industries, and geographies.
  • Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with existing brokers, groups, and customers.
  • Customizes complex business solutions to meet each prospect’s needs while having a strong knowledge of the customer’s business and our products, services, and capabilities.
  • Ensures that customer, broker, and prospect’s needs are addressed and resolved quickly, personally, and responsively.
  • Coordinates with the Implementation Specialist to manage implementation of new customer accounts.
  • Provides weekly sales reports and ensures all sales activities, quotes and sales are entered on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Tasks may include working with the Implementation Specialist and multiple internal departments to ensure smooth new group transitions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree required. Sales, marketing, business, or education field is preferred. Requires life and health insurance license for all states in which the sales executive sells products.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in sales is required. Experience in selling service-related products is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to work independently required.
  • Negotiation, selling to customer’s needs, relationship-building, managing process, developing budget required.
  • Knowledge of sales and the insurance industry is preferred.
  • Ability to travel required.
